These were so easy to make, and it's become my favorite method of making wings.

Equipment

  • A BBQ Grill big enough to cook in
  • Cooking brushes for each of your sauce
  • A Pair of Tongs
  • Paper Towels

Ingredients

  • 2lbs Chicken Party Wings
  • Vegetable oil, or cooking spray
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Baby Carrots
  • 2 stalks of Celery, cut into sticks
  • Sesame Seeds (for garnish)

Sauces of your choice. I bought these pre-made as I was making the wings for lunch. So just choose your go-to sauces.

  • Buffalo Hot Sauce
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Teriyaki Sauce

Instructions

Prep Work: Preferably, you'll want to air-dry the wings overnight in the fridge. This will let your sauces adhere to them much better.

  1. Pre-heat one side of your grill. Regardless of if it's a charcoal grill or a gas grill (like the one I used), you'll want one side of it hot.

For Gas grillers like me, turn one side of your grill on high heat, and one side on low heat.

  2. Once it is heated up, grab your tongs and crumple up a few pieces of paper towel, dip it in cooking oil and coat the grill with it, so that the wings won't stick. Alternatively, you can spray cooking oil, and save yourself the mess.

  3. Place all the wings on the cooler side of the grill (part with low fire).

  4. After 5 minutes, turn them over to the other side. And let cook for another 5 minutes. At this point, you can group them depending on the number of sauces you want to use.

  5. Turn the wings one more time, this time applying your sauces. Cook for another 15 minutes, coating them with your sauce as you turn them every 5 minutes.

  6. You'll want to keep an eye on the fire. If the grill starts to flare up, lower the heat or move the wings to a cooler part of the grill.

  7. Finally, take the wings out of the grill and serve with carrots and celery sticks along with Ranch dressing or even your left over sauces.
